ANSI: abbreviation of American National Standard Institute; it is the national standard setting body in the United States, which is responsible for the design and performance approval of electronic / electrical components sold all over the world.
 
CSA: Canadian Standards Association.
 
IEC: International Electrotechnical Commission.
 
IECQ: in order to promote the cross regional trade of qualified electronic components in the world, IEC launched the quality evaluation system for electronic components in 1983. Based on this globally recognized certification system, any electronic components provided by qualified manufacturers and distributors can be used without further testing.
 
NEMA: American Electrical Manufacturers Association, a standard setting organization in the United States. It is mainly aimed at the switch products installed on various equipment casings, which need to have a certain level of protection function against the invasion of liquid, solid, dust and corrosive elements. NEMA rating is mainly used for industrial and outdoor applications. See IP.
 
Semko: Svenska Elektriska Materielkontrollanstalten of Sweden, the first class European certification body in Sweden.

RoHS: Directive 2002 / 95 / EC on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment, which was adopted by the European Union in February 2003, is usually referred to as the RoHS or the RoHS. It has been enforced as a law in all EU Member States since January 2006. This directive strictly limits the use of six hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Closely related to it is the waste of electronic equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002 / 96 / EC. This directive sets out the detailed requirements for the collection, recycling and reuse of electronic products. It is an initiative of the legislature to solve a large number of poisoning incidents caused by electronic waste.
